Here at Dewey Decimal Academy, we’re a community of families learning, growing, and navigating home education together. We may be rooted in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, but our heart and our help extend far beyond our region. If you’re across the country or across the world, you’re invited to explore, connect, and make yourself at home.
As a family, we’ve been officially homeschooling our own children for more than seven years (Unofficially for almost 12), and it has been a learning adventure in every sense of the word. Our classroom has never been confined to just four walls… we’ve taught lessons in forests, deserts, coffee shops, libraries, and on the road. Our journey has taken us throughout the Pacific Northwest, across the Southwest, and even overseas for a few unforgettable weeks of learning in London and Scotland. Every place has shaped us, stretched us, and reminded us that education can happen anywhere curiosity is alive.
